Meet Anthony

He is a handsome 13 year old boy wh resides in the state of Texas. He loves being around his peers and is know upbeat and sweet personality. He is very active so would probably enjoy being in a family that was quite active as well. He attends public school with the help of special eduation classses. He communicates somewhat verbally but his main for of communication is through sign language and gestures. Even though the majority of his commiuncation is not verbally one mom in particular named Amanda Unroe said that even though her daughter Julianne was non-verbal she communicated better than anyone she had ever met.So when looking at this sweet boy please remember that.

Raymear is another 13 year old boy just waiting, and waiting, and waiting for his family to find him. He lives in The Garden State, New Jersey that is. Here is what someone who personally knows Raymear had to say about him, Raymear is described as an affectionate and engaging child. He blossoms when receiving extra attention from his loving caregivers. You will often find this little boy laughing and smiling with those around him. Due to his Downs Syndrome he tends to enjoy more youthful toys that make noise especially cars and trucks. He loves swimming, music, and dancing. Raymear loves to attend church to sing along with the choir. With assistance, Raymear loves to pet the family dog and care for it. Raymear has difficulty verbalizing all of his thoughts and feelings. He has made some progress in communicating his needs in short simple sentences to others. Currently, Raymear shares a home with other children his age and they interact well together under the caregiver’s supervision.   He can complete his homework consisting of writing words and tracing letters. Raymear has also developed the abilities to meet his personal daily living needs with supervision and some assistance from his caregivers. Raymear looks forward to eating his weekly favorite meal, hamburgers with fries! An end of the day “High Five” hand shake, is enjoyed before he goes to bed each night! An adoptive family would need to be understanding, loving, and very patience with Raymear as he slowly transitions into a new home and school environment. Raymear also enjoys giving high fives before he goes to bed each night. Sounds like an awesome son if you ask me.

Sweet Dwayne looks so scared, but from what I read he is vivacious and full of life. They just must have caught in a not so happy mood. He is 6 years old and resides in Louisiana. He has common delays associated with children who have Down Syndrome but he is going to physical and occupational therapy and making improvements. Love is the best medicene so let's get him into a family and watch him grow :)

Wilandria who prefers to go by Willie is 17 years old and is at a great risk of aging out of the American foster care system, forever condemned to living her life in an institution. She is a sweet gorl from Texas who I wish I had more information about but at this time sadly I don't. PLEASE inquire about her and save her the heartbreak of never getting to experience life.

Marc is a fun-loving and energetic 11 year old boy who enjoys being busy. He loves to run and jump around at the park, watch cartoons and play with his trucks. Pearson is friendly and active. He loves to play with toys that are stimulating to the senses, especially ones that light up and twirl. He enjoys going to the park and playing on the playground. Pearson gets along with his peers but prefers to play alone. I am not sure of Pearson's age as it was not listed, but in addition to his Down Syndrome he has been diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder. Pearson needs a family who will be gentle and patient with him, are you that family?
